Data controller, scope and contact
Data controller: Funture Games & Software.
This policy covers the Veloura app published by Funture Games & Software, its application server and related account/support operations. Send privacy questions and requests to funturegames@gmail.com. Website visits and contact-form processing are described separately in the website privacy notice.
Information we process
- Accounts and sessions: Email address, username, account ID, sign-in provider information, a secure password hash for password-based accounts and session tokens are processed to create accounts and protect access. Google sign-in may also provide your name, email, profile picture and provider identifiers.
- Profiles and community: Names, biographies, profile pictures, comments and replies you add are stored to provide profile and community features. Profile information and comments you share may be visible to other users.
- Content and game use: Reading/episode progress, unlocked episodes, favourites, ratings, game sessions, rewards and virtual gold transactions are processed to associate progress and entitlements with your account.
- Purchases: Product, order, purchase verification information and subscription status are used to verify payment, deliver gold or Premium access and prevent duplicate fulfilment. Veloura does not receive your payment card number or security code.
- Security and support: Reports, user blocks and support requests, together with technical records such as IP addresses, connections and errors, may be processed to protect the service, investigate abuse and resolve problems.
Optional analytics and crash reporting
Firebase Analytics usage measurement and Firebase Crashlytics crash reporting are separate choices, both disabled by default. You can enable or disable each under More → Privacy and support. They are not required to read stories or use account features.
If you enable analytics, Google may process app interactions, app-instance/device information and approximate location derived from IP addresses. If you enable crash reporting, diagnostic information may include stack traces, app/operating-system versions, device details and installation identifiers. Veloura does not request precise device location for these purposes.
Disabling a choice stops new collection in that category. Previously submitted data remains subject to the relevant service's retention and deletion procedures; contact us with privacy requests. Veloura does not display ads or sell personal information for advertising targeting.
Service providers and sharing
The Veloura server and its backups are hosted in Türkiye through Hosting Dünyam. The hosting provider may process information as necessary to operate the infrastructure. Authorised support and administration personnel access only the information needed for their duties.
Firebase Authentication supports sign-in; Google Play handles payments and subscriptions; Google Gmail handles support email. Analytics and Crashlytics are used according to your respective choices. Google services may process data on infrastructure outside Türkiye and your country of residence. The Google privacy policy and Firebase privacy information explain those services further.
Profile information and comments you choose to share are displayed to other users. Information may be disclosed to authorised public bodies where a legal obligation applies. External services reached through links process information under their own terms.
Protection, retention and account deletion
Communication between the app and server is encrypted using HTTPS. Account, content access and progress data is retained to provide your account's features. Support and security records are limited to the time needed to resolve the request, investigate an incident or meet applicable retention obligations.
Account deletion removes personal profile information, sign-in links, progress, favourites, ratings, game/reward records and purchase associations held by Veloura. Comment text is removed; technical account/comment records may remain to preserve other people's replies. Firebase identity cleanup is handled separately. Your Google account itself is not deleted.
Veloura server backups are retained for no longer than 7 days. Backups remain on the server; no separate off-server backup copy is kept. Information removed from the active service may remain in older backups until their retention period expires.
Backups are not available through normal user access. If a backup is restored, completed deletion actions are reapplied before the service is reopened to users.
This period applies to Veloura server backups. Support emails, Google Play's own payment records and optional Firebase measurement data are assessed separately according to their purposes and the relevant service's retention rules.
Age scope and privacy requests
Veloura is intended for users aged 13 and over. Higher age thresholds or parental permission requirements applicable where you live still apply. Contact support if you believe an account or information belongs to someone under 13.
You can request information, correction, deletion, or object to processing, and request portability or restriction where applicable. You may withdraw optional choices at any time. See the personal data notice for details. Changes to data processing will be reflected in this policy and any required user notices.
